Garden Club

Welcome to Newnham Garden Club.

We provide a forum for all species of gardener in Newnham and the surrounding area.

We meet on the third Monday each month generally at 7.30pm in the Armoury Village Hall although throughout the year we do go on trips through the afternoon so please check our program.

That program is varied and includes talks from specialists and professionals; summer trips to gardens; themed evenings and a Christmas party.

Two coffee mornings a year give you a chance to buy plants early in the year and produce later in the year and always provide a chance to seek advice about all things horticulture.

Our members range from beginners to well informed experts and everyone has a say in our constitution, what we get up to and who’s currently on the committee etc.

So, window box or estate, do come along and join us.

Secretary: Judy Setter –

Our visit to Rock House in Elberton in February was brilliant with a record turnout and beautiful weather.

Our talk from Will Scott on Sharpening Tools on 18 March was very informative and everyone went home with well honed tools to use through the summer.

The AGM was very successful – if you would like to see the minutes please do not hesitate to get in touch.  Also if you would like to join the garden club then get in touch.  It is £20 subscription for the year.  We have a busy programme of events for the coming year!
