GRANGE VILLAGE, just outside Newnham-on-Severn on the edge of the Forest of Dean, offers opportunities for a rich and varied life for adults with learning disabilities and other special needs. There is a broad age range, from young adults to those who are now retired.
Our strong emphasis on person-centred planning brings out the best in people, widening horizons and creating a forward thinking, confident, out-going community. With backing and support for the achievement of individual goals, community members are taking greater responsibility for the direction of their lives with positive benefits for the individual and the community
We are a national charity supporting adults with learning disabilities, mental health problems and other special needs. We support people in their home life, work, social and cultural activities through our 11 urban and rural communities in England and Scotland.
OAKLANDS PARK is a busy rural community on the edge of the Forest of Dean. We offer opportunities for adults with learning disabilities and other special needs to live and work in delightful surroundings, where their contributions to the life of our community are valued.
Our life is based on the land on which we live and the recently developed cafe, art gallery, weaving studio and bookshop – The George – in the village of Newnham-on-Severn
Keep an eye on this page – there is usually an event on Fridays.
